Creating connections and building awareness and understanding for people about how their food is produced, where it comes from and the huge range of goods and services farming delivers, is a key part of delivering more sustainable farming.
Jill Britten – Wendy’s mother, is an inspiration, she has crusaded for decades resulting in saving large swathes of green belt land ‘Save our green spaces’.
We are custodians of the land, protecting it for future generations, hence our ongoing support of the charity CPRE (Campaign for the Protection of Rural England).
On the 30th of November 2019 we joined the Woodland Trust for ‘The Big Climate Fightback’ we invited the local community to come and plant trees with us, we raised over £400 for the Woodland Trust and planted over 50 trees, including lime, oak and cherry.
